Frequently asked questions

Do I need to create an account?

No. The app works without an account and stores your data on your device. An account lets you sync your data between devices and keep a copy if you lose your device.

Where is my data stored?

Without an account, only in your browser. With an account, a copy is also stored on our server hosted in the European Union. See our Privacy Policy.

How do I back up my data?

Settings → Data Management → Download Backup. You receive all your data in a single file and can restore it from the same screen.

This is particularly important without an account: clearing your browser data deletes your records, and we cannot recover them because we do not have a copy.

Can I use it like an app on my phone?

Yes. app.solsty.net can be opened in your phone's browser. In the share menu, select "Add to Home Screen" . It opens with an app icon and also works offline.

I forgot my password.

On the sign-in screen, select "Forgot password" . A reset link will be sent to your registered email address. The link is valid for one hour.

If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder. A reset email cannot be sent if you have not verified your address.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Account → Permanently delete account. Your account and data are deleted from the server. Data on your device remains; to remove it too, use the reset option in Data Management.

Is my data shared with anyone?

No advertising networks, analytics trackers or data sales. A full list of the providers we use to run the service is in section 5 of the Privacy Policy.

Does it cost anything?

Core features are free and will remain free. We may offer subscriptions for additional features later; nothing that is free today will become paid, and access to your own data will always be free.
